After working in Melbourne for many years in the corporate world, David sought greater career fulfillment, driven by a desire to help others, David was mentored by a Funeral Director and began working for a leading provider in Melbourne.
It wasn't long after this that David felt the time was right to branch out on his own and establish a family-owned business providing superior funeral services.
D&M dignified funerals is now established, operating and expanding to service Metropolitan Melbourne residents with affordable funerals.

D&M Dignified Funerals mortuary services are provided at 291 Arthur Street, Fairfield, Victoria, 3078. This is a rented facility owned by Lonergan Raven.

Where extended mortuary care is required for the purpose of embalming, in order to preserve the deceased for interstate or overseas repatriation, or to be able to return the deceased to the family home prior to funeral services D&M Dignified Funerals engages the services of Independent Funeral Industry Support Services (IFISS) of 664-666 Smith Street, Clifton Hill, Victoria 3068.

D&M Dignified Funerals crematorium services are provided by six major crematoriums in the greater metropolitan Melbourne Area:
•Altona Memorial Park (GMCT)
•Bunurong Memorial Park (SMCT)
•Fawkner Memorial Park (GMCT)
•Geelong Memorial Park (Geelong Cemeteries Trust)
•Lilydale Memorial Park (GMCT)
•Springvale Botanical Cemetery (SMCT)
Families choose the crematorium of choice closest to the funeral service or for reason of personal significance.
D&M Dignified Funerals uses its own funeral vehicles for the purposes of transporting deceased bodies:
•LDV G10 Silver van (Transfer vehicle)
•Ford black or white hearse option (Funeral vehicle)
To assist with after-hours or immediate need transfers from place of passing D&M Dignified Funerals employees the assistance of a funeral transfer service to respond promptly to family’s needs. These include:​
